Awesome Eddie, this is definitely one of my favorite comments so far. I had a similar experience--over Thanksgiving I had some family members ask me what I was up to lately, and I casually mentioned something about the SEO Loser blog. They were all really interested in that, and my grandparents (who I didn't even know could use the internet) actually went home and printed out the whole post to read it. Later that night they told me they really thought it was funny and kept calling me a "Seeee-Ohhh" loser, haha.

Great first post. For some reason I keep thinking about your trip to PubCon and the experience you described. It's so interesting how true it is when people get into social situations like that. I told at least four people so far about your site after only reading your post yesterday. What's also interesting is why I told them.

The picture and caption are really funny, as well as the post. But also the overall topic is human enough to tell anyone and not feel like a nerd telling it to people who have no idea what SEO means. I read SEO blogs throughout the day and most people I know don't want to hear about some site, some niche you found, or tip you picked up. But this is different. It's funny, and may even get of the of the people I told into the field!

The post inspired to me get my blog going for real, and come back and comment on yours. I'd love to talk SEO with you at some point, after all I know you so well now :)

Way to "document" your loser experience ;). I wonder if you made it easier or harder for those of us in the SEO Losers club to meet and greet the A listers. My guess is yes as most of them are quite friendly anyway or maybe they'll fear the power of a linkbaited blog post. I do admire you for saying out loud what a lot of people think even if you got some of it wrong. Just don't forget at the next show when someone comes up to you and says "I like your blog dude", no snickering allowed. Keep on bloggin' loser.
